Hi, I’m Sara Julia Waller.

I’m a fashion, celebrity, and luxury destination wedding photographer working between New York, Palm Beach, and destinations worldwide.

My work spans fashion, bridal, beauty, and celebrities alongside intimate, design-driven weddings. I approach each with the same visual discipline — balancing documentary feeling storytelling with an editorial sensibility shaped by years in the fashion industry.

Over the past decade, I’ve curated, contributed to, and produced editorial and branded content for international publications and brands. My career has included roles as a Photographer Agent at Walter Schupfer Management, where I managed the careers of fashion photographers, and as a Licensing Agent for Art Partner, representing Mert Alas & Marcus Piggott, Glen Luchford, Tyler Mitchell, Harley Weir, Steven Klein, Mario Sorrenti, and Mario Testino.

I’ve contributed photography to publications including Vogue, The New York Times, Teen Vogue, Vogue Arabia, Vogue México, Document Journal, L’Officiel, Los Angeles Times, Glamour, Office Magazine, Town & Country, PUSS PUSS Magazine, WedVibes, and Together Journal, among others.

My work has included collaborations with fashion houses such as Agolde, Citizens of Humanity, Galvan London, and Lanvin, as well as bridal designers including Alexandra Grecco, Floure Studio, Francesca Miranda, Preparage, Viktor & Rolf Mariage, Marmar Halim, Temperley London, Odylyne The Ceremony, and Reem Acra.

Alongside my photography practice, I’ve worked extensively in casting, scouting models, actors, and real people for fashion, advertising, and feature films. Past collaborations include work for brands such as Gucci, Nike, Balmain, Clinique, MAC Cosmetics, Mercedes-Benz, Puma, Sephora, and Google.

This background informs how I approach wedding photography. I work closely with planners and creative teams to document luxury destination weddings and celebrations with an editorial eye — creating imagery that feels refined, effortless, and enduring. My approach combines quiet direction with observation, resulting in photographs that feel natural while remaining visually considered.

I hold a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Photography from Parsons School of Design and a certificate in Art Law from Sotheby’s Institute of Art. Born in Sydney, raised in Paris, and now based between New York and Palm Beach, my work is shaped by a global perspective and a deep respect for craft.

French is my first language.

I’m at home in boutique hotels and the New York Philharmonic.

For my wedding, I wore Cecilie Bahnsen and Rick Owens.

And I bake dark chocolate tarts whenever I can.
